so +12v (here i put in a fused wire from battery) gnd (here i connect to a paintless pannel on car) were do i put the negative of the battery

well i have it wired directly to the battery (btw i am a extreame beginer at this stuff)

when i plug in my amplifier to the car battery the power light flashes and the light goes out and i was wondering what am i doing wrong
