The type R's are great subs!!! I have two 12s and love them!! The type S are also pretty good. I don't know about the E series.

Alpine makes some really good stuff! You do need a more powerful amp. You can find JBL 1200.1 amps on ebay really cheap. If you have the money upgrade to the type R subs. Other wise your system looks good.
