i also have this unit, i have no problems with it turning off sparadically, check your connections it sounds like you have a loose wire or something , i have had no problems with this unit what so ever.... also i am loking for a steering wheel interface, have you had any progress on this matter?

i actually just purchased the clarion unit, it works nice and sounds awesome, they do make a bluetooth adapter for it, im considering purchasing it. As for navigation i head it was good but is also the same price of the unit...... so not too appealing for me

hey, i actually just ran into this problem 2 days ago, i just installed the MAX675vd a few days ago and had the same problem with the screen, after reading a little closer in the manual i figured it out, when you got this device there were two sets of cables that came with the HU, it had a bunch...
