spend your money on your speakers , install and processing. I love those amps but i won't buy them personally. they are so expensive because they have more power , better build quality , more reliability and better customer service. but i don't see any reason to spend that much for my amps due...

I'd take the Zapco just because of the name and also it's a bit more powerful in bridged mode, but also the jl is significantly cheaper , is a more flexible amp and has more power/ch. you can't go wrong with either.

what's the best amp to pair with the dyn's? and how is the top end extension and dynamics?

Do the Dyn's sound similar to DLS?

in the end bought the cd400! and it really sounds fantastic! so smooth! so dynamic! with nooo harshness! even sounds better than the clarion dxz956mc which replaced by the nak! the nakamichi sounds different, very meaty , powerful and more neutral while the clarion was a warmer sounding deck...

audison vrx 4.300 on front stage .. what are your thoughts on the cd400 reliablity?

thank for the inputs, but don't you think the TA in a passive setup isn't necessary? and the 5 band PEQ doesn't do very good job? and the active X-overs aren't usable in the passive setup?

EDIT: tested again and both sounded the same!

today i demoed the nak cd500 and cd400 side by side on the board and found the cd500 has much more focused staging compared to the cd400 which had much wider staging! does the cd500 sound better?!
