it's a one channel amp. you can't bridge a single channel.

at least most places that sell sony stuff tells you what to realistically expect.

I'd say definately run both RCA's. if you don't, if you have a stereo song and you have the right channel hooked up and bass is hitting the left channel, it won't play on your subs. The speaker outputs are identical, since this is a mono-channel amp it's internally bridged. You don't need to...

I currently have a box with about 1.4 cubic feet total inner volume(not counting sub displacement). It's a shared air space for 2 12" subs.(RF Punch Z, i think, the 150rms/400max model). These subs reccomend 1-1.5 for a sealed box. does that mean I need a 2-3cubic foot box for it to work...

which would hit harder? 2 12" subs, running off 300RMS, so 150 per sub.. or 1 12" sub running off 300RMS by itself. assuming you use the proper box for each setup and correct volumes, etc...

this is a theoritical quesiton. say you have 2 amps, both put out 500 watts RMS. only one does it @ 4 ohm, and one @ 2 ohm. is there a difference in sound quality? assuming the same subs are used and only the ohm rating for the sub is varried?

i know what my speakers support, that's not the question, i'm wondering what the wattage the sub puts out is. It says 300watts, but doesn't specify if that is RMS or peak.

that amp is sounding good to me...price is right too. I'll check with my guy, see if he can get it cheaper, but it's looking like it could be the one i end up with. But one more question, how's the sound quality on a JBL? are they pretty high quality?

Hi all, i'm wondering if you can help me decide on an amp to get. I currently have 2 12" Rockford Fosgate Subs, I forget the model but they are rated for 150RMS each @ 8ohms. They are wired in parallel and have i'm told has a final impedence of 4 ohms. I'm currently looking at possibly getting...
