I’m running a Hifonics Brutus now, the brz1200.1, I believe that it does accurate rated power. I heard hifonics other lines don’t. I’m totally satisfied with the amp. I think its one the best for the price. Got it for $180 Thinking about getting a bre2500.1D for $350 next

I would suggest mmats if you’re looking for a small sized amp. I just replaced mine with a hifonics amp and although I can say the hifonics does the same power for 1/4 the price the mmats amp was probably half the size. Don't get me wrong I LOVED my mmats amp but I’m a broke college student so...

Which amp line is more reliable Hifonics Brutus or Lanzar Optidrive? Reliable as in putting out the claimed power and not breaking when powering one or two subs around 1000-1500 rms.

Coils are each reading 1.5 when tested by themselves. If wired in parallel its reading about 0.8. I also just ran my positive on my meter to the positive on the one coil and the negative from the meter and the positive of the other coil and still got 1.5 ohms. Is there a way I can test that? I had it hooked up to an amp and it was working. I thought it was running at 3 ohms and was wondering why the amp was overheating but it must have been at 1.5 ohms and the amp was only 2 ohm stable so maybe thats why it was over heating.
