SO confused!- what amp to get?

you can get whatever kind of wire you want. Every wiring kit should come with remote turn-on wire, but if the kit somehow doesn't, you can easily buy however many feet of wire you need.

    crossfire vr4000d

I have been running two crossfire amps for about 4 years now, one of which is the vr1000D and I have nothing but phenomenal things to say. I run the vr1000D at 1 ohm and have been for that many years every single day and I can't say enough about the loudness of my subs and the reliability of...

    speaker harness

I don't know precisely, but I do know that with my car which is a 1999 Acura Integra, I have to use the harness for the 1998 and earlier acuras, so maybe your car takes an earlier or later harness, so I would go to best buy or something and take a look at some of the ones for different years of...

    wiring question?

there is no safe way, nor any dangerous way. It is simply not possible. Only can wire at 4 or 1 ohm.

I love my crossfire vr1000D (although they make much bigger now)

    Amplifier issues now

Maybe try running different RCA's. If the whine is still there, along with this new problem, there is probably a bad ground (which you have heard a million times by this point). You do know, however, that the grounds from your amps are good, because the new problem you're having happens to...

    Quick HU wiring question

definitely put in an inline fuse in the wire just to be safe, something like 20 amps

    OMG my 880 just broke

If you're certain all fuses are good, ground the head unit and touch the constant wire and the switch wire together. If the radio turns on, something is wrong with the wiring. If not, it might be toast.

Quick question about hooking up a HU and Amp

most (if not all) of decent head units these days have a function that allows you to turn off the internal amp if you so choose.

How do I set a 4 band eq?

Thanks, I appreciate the help. I guess another question I have is, what exactly does is mean when I select the frequencies? Does that mean that sound is cut off below that frequency on that band? Does that even make sense?
