What helped was checking the audio balance and making sure CarPlay wasn’t set to “front speakers only.” While testing, we also ran a few calls through a sip trunk provider, which made it easy to hear if the audio was routing properly across all channels.
Had a similar setup, and making that small connection fixed the call audio. My buddy’s shop uses a cloud auto dialer to test calls quickly, and it’s nice—everything routes cleanly and you can tell right away if the audio’s coming through correctly.
I had a similar issue and it turned out my phone’s Bluetooth permissions were off for calls and texts—double check your phone’s connected device settings and toggle those permissions on.
