I was just wondering if you could do that vice versa and hook up home audio stuff to your car somehow by using an adjustable resistor or something to control power. Is this possible

I don't know if it's true, but I'm pretty sure a variable bitrate is the best quality you can get for a song. And 192 is as high as I usually get because above 192 is suposedly too high and will cause some distortion if you listen closely and compare songs to how they are supposed to sound.
