    Im thinking of buying a Set of JL Audio Z5100-CT tweeters. JL Audio ZR100-CT (zr100ct) 1" Evolution ZR Series Aluminum Dome It says it Includes a 12dB/Octave inline filter. Can i Just wire the tweeters straight to my door speakers? Or is it not that easy? Thanks

    Hello, Im thinking of puchasing some JL Audio Tweeters (ZR-100CT). JL Audio ZR100-CT (zr100ct) 1" Evolution ZR Series Aluminum Dome It says it includes a 12dB/Octave inline filter. Can I just hook these up to my door speakers and be done? Or is there something else? Thanks.

    Best buy sells name brand stuff like Kicker and Kenwood. But anyways, im not paying retail at best buy. Im buying it BNIB off my buddy for 400$. What could i get thats any better for 400$? And i still need to know if 1500w wil damage 2 350w subs

    I drive an 04 colorado. I have a stock altenator and battery. Im running 4 gauge wire from the battery to the amp. I could easily upgrade the big 3 wiring though. My main question is this... Could the amp potentially harm my subs?

    So I have an update for everyone... My buddy offered me his 1500W RMS amp for a very good deal. My subs are only rated at 700W RMS (350 each). Perhaps this thread title should be changed to "Is my amp too powerfull" lol. Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Its a Jbl gto14001 btw.

    Okay so it would be best to buy a bigger amp so i dont have to crank the gain so high? I can get a Jl Audio JX1000/1 for 300$ its 1000W at 2 ohms? Better match?

    Thanks for all of your replies, they are SVC subs and I know the amp is stable at 1 ohm. How would it be possible to run it like that?
