Whats "Big 3"?

I love a simple and sophisticated look in a headunit, so: Sony CDX-M8800 - been using this for about 2 years now, I love it! And then there is that amazing looking sony headunit with a hard drive (MEX-1HD): Id love to get that unit sometime but they are rare and expensive.

That whole site is down, what amp do you have in mind?

Im probably buying that one in a couple days, what are the key differences? All i can spot is 50 watts less at 2 ohms, and the 9152D is supposvely 1 ohm stable.

Thanks for the suggestion Steven, I wish it had 100 more watts though Also i wouldnt mind a class D mono amp at this point, im thinking in the future ill probably upgrade the sub.

Im leaning towards the Alpine # RMS Power: 400W x 1 (at 2 ohms) # Bridged Power: 600W x 1 (at 4 ohms) How can it be bridged, if it is a mono amp? Also, will this class D amp draw rouhgly less power than the sony amp (its more powerful but its class D)? EDIT: ok never mind the **** alpine...

Also, will i be running a risk of blowing my sub with 600 watts rms or so, or is that still within the norm for overpowering? Subs range is said to be 170-400 rms.
