Soundstream D200II, 16+ years. eD Nine.1, 3+ years. No issues with either amp.

Personally, I wouldn't do that with such a high tune. There'd be a good chance the sub would unload below tuning frequency, which leads to nothing good.

Given a proper install, that Nine.1 should be pushing closer to 1400+ watts at full tilt with engine running. I'd think the sub should at least work normally with that amount of power? Seems like something isn't right for sure. Oh, and just in case the OP missed it..... 30 hz for the ssf!

Check the Master/Slave switch on the Nine.1, make sure it's set to Master. If it's set to slave, you'll get close to zero output. With a tune of 37hz, I'd personally set the SSF to 30ish hz.

ASFAIK, any deadening material is a permanent modification to the vehicle, and should be left alone. I know the eD haters will be chiming in, but it's true. You deaden your vehicle, it should be permanent. Not something to be removed when the vehicle is sold. You want to remove the stuff...

Yep, I worked for a shop that wanted me to use T-Taps. After numerous failures in the first week, I tossed all of the T-taps on my tool cart in the trash, and never used them again.

I've personally inspected one of the original shipping crates that were used for the first batches of 19Ov2s. I have no idea what they were thinking of making a crate out of MDF, of course it's going to have breakage issues. I still have the crate sitting in my garage, I should go take pics...

Wait, are those single voice coil or dual voice coil subs? Somethings not right there. Plus if you are running that amp at 8 ohm bridged, its only gonna be putting out maybe 250 watts rms. And that's sony watts lol.
