yeah I know it should be possible to drive without a headunit...which is why I'm a bit skeptical. But is there any way they could have wired it up to require a head unit? I don't really know this audio stuff, I mostly got the car because of the engine work and the fact that I got it for half of...

yeah I probably should also does that whole "alternator not working properly because there is no headunit" sound possible? Or is that probably a load of ****? Apparently the guy had 2 car audio guys tell him that's the cause...but that just sounds weird. The symptom is that the the battery...

So I bought a car with an audio/video system(amp, capacitor, sub, TVs) and it was missing a head unit. And according to the seller, the car was wired for a headunit which in turn is causing the alternator to behave funky(cuts in and out)...and apparently 2 car audio shops told him that the issue...
