    Compatible amp for Kicker CVR 12 ?

    My Kicker CVR 12" DVC has been underpowered for months and I had no idea.. My dad handed me down his old Alpine MRV-F340 and it's been wired at 4 ohms and I barely could hear it at all. So I bridged at 2 ohms and it sounded pretty decent but the amp would overheat after about 20 minutes...
