The only fuse added is inline 12v+ near the battery. Should I add a fuse near the splitter, and if so where exactly? Thanks

Yes they will be using 8AWG from the splitter. They are 110x2 watts.

I have 8 guage wire ran to the trunk where I have a 3-way splitter that will power 2 amps and an EQ. The EQ's power input is like 16 or 14 guage max. Is it ok to run this smaller size from my splitter, even though its supplied with 8 guage wire?
