there are plenty of amp manufacturers out there that make bad *** amps! i am not necessarily bias towards Kicker but i have always been really happy with kicker amps (ugly or not).

In my years of car audio i have come to a conclusion, if a woofer or amplifier looks really fancy and nice it is usually a piece of crap. I think audio manufacturers spend more money making the product look good and they cheap out on making it sound good.

check the flashers. GM flashers always go bad and the hazards have their own flasher.

yes you can run 2 drivers that are 4 ohm in parallel and run them at 2 ohm. Will it make a difference (not really) my advice is to get a bigger amp if you are looking for more power.

Check the Bulb! The illumination wire on the radio/harness is not on the same circuit as the dome lamp.

Has anyone installed or used any of the Kicker IX series amps? if so how was it?

Seriously spend the money on a kicker amp. You need to realize that kicker tests their woofers with their amplifiers. Not Exile or mb quart or jl or anything. The kicker amps will push those woofers to there loudest. If you get a kicker amp and they are in the proper box those CVX's will bang!

I recently built an enclosure for a Hummer H2 with one x18 powered by two ZX2500.1's. 1 to each voice coil @2ohm. I built the box to kicker Specs at 10 cu ft with a rectangular port that is 25"w X12LX9Deep. with the port on the face with the woofer. I used dual 1" MDF to make the box 2" thick...
