Best Amp for IDMAX v.3 D4

No ideas? Maybe a nice Class D, biased @ 2 Ohms? I'm currently considering the US Amps DE1000.

I've heard of 0 Guage wire, but...

I don't know if it's normally shortened to 'ott' but it's actually spelled 'ought'. Here is a good article: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-K8hvJv2frh1/tech/kb69.html

Kate Hudson. I'm convinced it's the fuel pump now. Thanks for helping me track that down you two!

    High pitched tone from car

Yeah I hear ya, but what could be doing that in the back half of the car? Maybe it's a vacuum leak? Hmm...

    High pitched tone from car

That's too funny Ok, I'll try that next. The one thing I'm not sure I made clear is that this noise is a very high frequency. I'd say around 15-20 khz. It's not like the hum of a tire on the highway. Thanks for your help guys! I'll post back in a few hours and share my findings...

    High pitched tone from car

Both driving and sitting still. There is no change in the tone when I hit the gas. It only changes when I cause a voltage drop by turning the AC on or putting the windows up/down. The frequency drops for a second and then goes right back.

    High pitched tone from car

Nope. No stereo, no interior. This sound is comming from the car itself. It sounds like a bad capacitor in a monitor/dumb terminal/CRT. Very high pitch and hard to localize. I'm almost positive it's electrical but I can't imagine what would be in the back of the car that could generate such a...

    High pitched tone from car

I'm in the middle of deadening a 2004 Hyundai Accent. I'm doing it over a few weeks so I've been driving the car w/out the interior in it. (The comments I'm getting when I use a drive through are priceless! "Oh dam... I thought you had an oven back there with all of that foil!" ) Anyway...

    Is Wire Just Wire.........

Wire is not wire. BCAE covers it nicely: Oxygen Free Copper: As you have probably noticed, wire designated as OFC wire usually has a clear insulation and the wire is bright and shiny underneath the transparent insulator. Well... It is nice and shiny for a while but after a short time...

Same here. I can see how it could break though. I'm probably going with an Eclipse next time.

    Polyfill

That sounds like a great idea. It will probably hold it in place better than the staples because of the surface area of the washers. I think I'll give that a shot. Thanks!

ss3079, thanks for the response. I'm going ahead with the staples

Wow, you're fairly worthless but I still feel the need to clairify. If you actually read my first post, I was talking about the vibrations and the magnetic force combined. Obviously the vibration is the larger factor. I was not declaring that it was probable, I was suggesting that it was...
