Ah thank you for clarifying, so in all reality the 8600 is pretty decent, but you dont think it networks amps? If I'm just planning to have maybe 1 or 2 amps, how important is networking? Any drawbacks you have experienced with your 860 so far? -MC

How is the time between MP3's when you play a burned CD-R? Does it take a good 3-5 seconds between songs, or faster? Im liking what I read and hear about this deck, plus it looks stylish. Its hard to pass up Alpine 9833 with what I read as well, always gets good marks. MC
