    Sold wanna sweet deal anyone?

That's gotta be the sweetest deal I've ever seen. EF-61cfi comps for $150?????? Don's gone totally insane!!! It's a **** shame I don't need a set of components right now. Someone is going to get an absolutely SMOKING deal with that set.

    Thoughts on these speakers

My buddy has them in his truck. Amazing speakers. He has no sub and doesn't need one. Aside from the added punch you'd get from a sub, the low frequency range is still there with those speakers. The V-mags are Cerwin Vega's better speakers. Unfortunately, they don't come in a 6x9. 6.5"...

Sold Fs.. Rare Aura Mobile Reference Mr62 Setup, New In Box.

I was wondering if you could take some measurements for me: What's the cutout diameter for the mid basket? And what's the maximum outer diameter of the basket's flange? Thanks.

What are some good 6.5' Coaxials?

I'd save your money and buy a pair of the Cerwin Vega V-mag 602 6.5" point source drivers. $68 online at Buy.com They're worth at least twice what they cost. I've been using them for 3 months and now I can't wait to drive my car somewhere. Crystal clear at ANY volume, amazing low-frequency...

Has anyone actually heard Cerwin-Vega component sets?

Bump. Still looking for any info on these speakers.

Has anyone actually heard Cerwin-Vega component sets?

That was probably my post regarding the V-mag 602 Unified Components, which are really point-source drivers. I think they're simply awesome sounding. But the built-in crossovers are very small, very basic, and only high-pass for the tweeters. I'm looking for info on the 6502 component set...

Has anyone actually heard Cerwin-Vega component sets?

I absolutely love my Cerwin-Vega V-mag coaxials, but I was wondering if the component sets were any better. Has anyone actually heard them or have them in their ride right now?

    Directed Audio?

    Dual 4-ohm in parallel = inverse of (1/4 + 1/4) = 2 ohms. Three 2-ohm speakers in parallel = inverse of (1/2 + 1/2 + 1/2) = inverse of 3/2 = 2/3 = 0.67 ohms.

    100rmsx2@4ohms needed for koda 6.1

I've never been disappointed with MTX. http://www.mtxaudio.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/thunder502.cfm Plus, their amps are typically at least 10% underrated.

MTX Thunder 684 vs. Planet Audio VX3004

Just wanted to add an update to close out this thread. I ended up buying the MTX Thunder 684 amp. The birthsheet says it's about 15% underrated (550 W vs. 480 W). Not too bad. Sound is very clean, has tons of power for my setup. Doesn't even get warm even after playing bass-heavy music for...

Best of the ~$50 6x9 speakers! I am looking for bass, your opinions?

If you want some good speakers, get a pair of Cerwin-Vega HED-1693. Amazing frequency range, amazing sound, amazing price. You'll be VERY surprised at the bass you get from these. I can ALMOST do without my sub. The speakers easily reach 90% of my sub's range, but don't quite have the punch...

    Sold f/s image dynamics 6.5

What's the mounting diameter of the basket (hole cutout size) for the woofer? Also, what is the overall maximum diameter of the frame? Thanks.

6.5" coaxials that can get loud and handle decent power

No components, just coaxes. I like Boston Acoustics stuff a lot, but I don't know about the performance or reliabilty of any of their newer speakers. What about Image Dynamics? I hear Rainbow has some good speakers, too. Anyone else?

MTX Thunder 684 vs. Planet Audio VX3004

Anyone else have an opinion on EITHER amp??

MTX Thunder 684 vs. Planet Audio VX3004

Can anyone compare these two amps? The specs look similar, but I was curious if anyone could compare the noise floor, harmonic distortion, if they're underrated/overrated, etc. What about reliability? Any info would be helpful.
