Yes I know ... I was telling him so he'd know what to get if he wants to use that amp and get its max power out of it.

A dual 4 ohm sub can be wired to be the 2 ohm load your amp needs in order to put out its max wattage.

Your sub can not be wired by itself in such a way that it is a 2 ohm load. It can only be wired to be a 1 ohm or a 4 ohm load ... Nothing else. Edit: 4 ... I meant 4 there. 1 ohm or a 4 ohm load ... Not 2.
