i just bought 2 kicker s8l7 subs on ebay . not sure what year though.they are the 2 ohm dual coil version.will a kicker kx800.2 power these subs decently, or will it be 2 much power? if not how should they be wired? thanks.

well its going to a invertor wich turns speaker power to low level signal for the amp inputs.you know, high to low.

i just hooked up my pioneer speakers to an amp and within a few minutes man they started to smell . what it smelled like hard to explain, but very obvious.the amp is a 2 chanell 200 watts max so i figured its around 50 rms a chanell.the speakers are 50 watts. dont know if i blew them or ?. gains...

HAVE A KICKER KX800.2 AMP, FRIEND SAYS IT WILL PUSH 2 4OHM DVC TYPE R 12s I SAY ONLY 1 .WHATS THE BEST RMS TO THROW AT THESE SUBS. AND WHAT AMP? THANX
