Been a busy last week, just haven't had time to spend on the install. Good news is the fiberglass sub mold is done and the volume is right on the money. By going with fiberglass and having the mold made to fit the spare tire well I gained a significant amount of volume and can keep my floor...

Not saying its a problem running inside, I just prefer to run the bulky stuff outside. And for less than 20 bucks for the Carflex, clamps, and fitting, it's a no-nobrainer for me.

Lowes or Home Depot would have it, though you want the stuff that's called Carflex Liquidtight. There are other brands and variations out there, but that's the one you want.

Got the conduit install done, just in time as it's supposed to get pretty dang cold tomorrow. Not the easiest of vehicles to run, but its in and its free and clear of anything I'd be concerned about. Use the metal clamps, not plastic ones. Stainless screws and spray a little Krown rust...

Today's mission, install conduit for power cable. There is plenty of room underneath, so I plan to take full advantage of it. Carflex Liquidtight is awesome for running wires externally, however, its wicked to work with in the cold. It will snap like an twig if you're not careful. I know we...

Next up, I decided to work on the tweeters in the lower A-pillar. Drilled and touched up with the Dremel. Tweeter in place. Only thing I did after this was add a couple spots of hot-glue to keep the tweeters in place, though they were already tight fitting. The finished product.

Cheap point-and-shoot Olympus Stylus 8000. Crop, re-size, color balance, sharpen. Nothing fancy.

Got the doors done last night. Two layers of B-Quiet Extreme. I also placed some B-Quiet on the door panel itself, particularly around the speaker area. Should give it a little more mass.

So while I poked away in the doors I noticed Ford installed 3 cents worth of foil covered tar in some kind of attempt to knock down the road noise: I kind of expected as much so I ordered up some acoustic treatment from the good folks at B-Quiet. I'm not about plugging people for the sake of...
