if everything else works, i dont see how that I wired something wrong.

I just installed my new kenwood ddx7017 and for some reason it wont play mp3s off of cds. It reads the cd and the head unit shows it playing, with the time counting down, but there is no sound. CDs and DVDs work just fine. Also, it says "CD DVD" on the top, when my 7015 used to say "CD DVD...

Thanks for your opinion, i was worried no one would comment. Any other opinions?

I just want to first say hello to everyone on the board! I just bought the 2 headunits for about the same price each and I want to keep the better one and give the other to my brother. Problem is, I dont know which is better. The 6019 is newer but the 7017 is supposed to be a better model back...
