I bought mine for $405 and it's NAV ready, IPOD ready, Sirius, XM, HD Radio ready. All you need are the add-ons (can get pretty expensive). And it does all, play DVD, cd, music, SD card, thumb drive, rear camera, xtra monitors
Well mine has HPF and sub output which you can set cut-off freq (lower for sub out and higher for front & rears), 8 band EQ, bass boost for sub out, loudness (low, mid and high setting), sonic center control.
I don't know about the 4000 but I have the 4200 and it plays both just fine. have you selected USB as source? it also searches for music AND pictures/video (on my player that is). Can't say I can really help you out with this since I don't know th interface of the 4000.
I bought my Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD for $409 on ebay and I can't say anything bad about it. I don't know the other brands so can't say anything about those. But pioneer is very good, but you'll need optional hardware for BT, NAV, IPOD, Sirius and XM.
My truck has 2 batteries stock and they're connected to eachother (without isolator, just battery to battery). Can I just do the BIG3 on the battery that powers my sound system or run the cable from alt to both batteries? The alt is fused in the fusebox by a 100A fuselink, shouldn't I fuse the...
