Sorry to bring back kind of dead thread but I was just wondering why the signal to noise ratio on the mrd-m501 is so low? It is 60db. Usually every other amp ive seen is at least in the 80's range. Does this effect sound quaklity a lot? thanks

Dual 4ohm and I will wire it for a 2ohm load to the amp so the alpine will put out about 550 watts and the jl will put out 500+ watts.

Out of the Alpine MRD-M501 and a JL Audio 500/1 which would you guys pick to power one JL 12W6v2 in a ported box tuned to 32Hz? Is the more money for the 500/1 really worth it in quality? How do you compare these? sorry if this has been answered before. thanks.

I am pretty sure that I can only fit 5.25" woofers in my doors. My dad has also has 95 Jeep GRAND Cherokee like u and i know he can fit 6.5" but I only have the cherokee sport model not the grand cherokee model. Any speaker suggestions?
