its slot ported on the top soo the sub is facing my passenger seat..and the port is on top...but whati dont get is when i had my 4 channel 840 poweracoustic amp on it it was hitting a lot harder but no as clean...i dont understand also my box isnt made to be facing upward to the roof..only...

alright ill ggive it a try...if im not mistaking tho i think it might be all the way down on my amp..not sure..but ill take a look

yeah i got the 13w6v2....and i had a shitty power acoustic amp to my sub and it was louder but not as clean as the 500/1 but it worked fine...my sub is wired to 2ohms...idk what else to do..and i turned up the bass on my stereo

okayy cause i had a guy from one of the local shops **** with it and he got it as loud as he can...and its really not that loud...the amp is fine 2 and so is the sub

i just picked up this jl 500/1 for my w6...and i hooked it up and its not pounding 2 hard...i read somewhere that the bass knob is required and optional...is it necessary to buy the bass knob?

i just recently upgraded to a 13w6 and 500/1 amp.... i think that was the best decision ive ever made...yeah its a little expensive but **** it, its welll worth it, jl just sounds amazing..go with the 1000/1 all the way

ive searched a little...but i think im gonna go with the jl 500/1 ...i would like to stick with jl products

alright...well i think alpine discountinued the 850 soo i guess its either between the kicker 750.1 and the jl 500/1

yeah people have told me about the 500/1 and ive had that in consideration but a guy at a shop i went to suggested a kicker 750.1 or an alpine 850...any feedback on either of those amps?

i have 1 13w6 and im looking for an amp to push it. Something not rediculously expensive but something good. thanks
