    you shouldnt disconnect the battery when doing an install or testing wires would be impossible...

    you cant get an accurate reading for resistance on any load when it is connected to an amp or anything else. if teh subs meter properly when disconnected from the amp then they are wired properly at that point. the resistance will flutter when the subs are moving aka when the amp is on wether...
