    SSA Subs?

Been running my Icon 12 for 6 months or better...now that's saying something for me.

small sealed with about 500 watts

Oh and also, I have had a DIYMA. Won't be loud enough for most listeners, including myself.

small sealed with about 500 watts

I have had tons of different subs and never seem to keep them very long until I got my SSD Icon 12. For smallish sealed enclosures and that kind of power I think it is a great mix of SPL and SQ. The Icon is somewhat similar to the SE so you can't really go wrong either way. I haven't heard...

    Best Sub at 1000w @1ohm???

Build a different box, smaller and tuned lower, for the SX and you will find it probably will "have more SQ". Also, if you just want a new woofer look into an SSA Icon. I have been through a lot of subs and this one's a keeper.

ID OEMS - They live up to the hype, no doubt!

I have a set of ID CTX crossovers if anyone wants them $15 shipped. I used them when I was running my OEMs and CTX tweets passive. Worked great. PM me if interested. I also have a set of the MPyre Xovers as well which cross the tweet slightly lower than what the CTX Xovers do.

Anyone have any idea if the Monsoon speakers have weird impedances like some of the Bose systems do?

Need Mids for Pontiac G6 Monsoon System

My brother has on 06 G6 with the Monsoon system. Havent had much luck getting an accurate assessment of what kind of replacement mids would work using the stock amplifier and what the mounting depth, speaker size, etc. is. If anyone with any experience with these cars can help me out with...

    Very, very budget components.

That Cadence CWM6 kit is very good for the money...I preferred them to the RSDs personally. I really dont think you can go wrong with any of these sets.

Please help, someone. One speaker louder and has more midbass than other

There is clearly a problem with level matching. Perhaps the rear channels have more output as mentioned above and it is simply going to be an issue of level matching your gains to get the same output at a given volume level.

    need on axis tweet

Also going to recommend a variant of the Vifo XT25/19 ring radiators. Good luck finding a smoother, flatter response tweeter for an on-axis install. I own the big bastards but not everyone may be able to fit them. Keep an eye out for the smaller Alpine versions and it will be worth the wait.

Need opinions from the SQ bisches.....

why not go with a compact dome style midrange that will take up basically no room? They generally are efficient too, and won't require the effort and space a woofer will.
