my amp manual says "Never connect the speaker cables with the chassis ground". does this mean i just have to unplug the ground wire if i want to replug my subwoofer wires?

Alright thanks a lot It is a one channel amp so if i just put the 4 wires into the 4 terminals then it should be 2 ohms?

So i have 2 subs that i need to wire down to 2 ohms. They are svc @ 4 ohms. I have an AP1500 and i need to wire them parallel. This means i only have 2 wires going to my amp, but there are 2 positive and 2 negative terminals. Does it matter where i put the wires?

I need a new mach 460 amp for a 99-04 mustang. The ones on ebay are 60 bucks, which is just stupid. Anyone know where i can get one for a decent price? Or my friend tells me that i can just wire the speakers to a 4 channel amp. I have a spare one but i'm not sure about how to do it.

Just to make sure i'm doing this right; When i'm using the dmm to get to the correct voltage which number do i use for power? I have an amp that puts out 950wrms @ 2 ohms, but the subs i am using are only rated for 350 wrms which i'm going to wire to 2 ohms. So, do i use 950, 700, or 350?

just curious, why no bass boost?

Just got an AP15001D and i was just curious on how to set the gain and all the other things. EG: The Amp has a gain, LPF, Subsonic, Bass Boost Freq, and Bass Boost knobs. While on my headunit i have the volume, bass, and subwoofer settings. Any help would be appreciated.
