I am fairly open on form factor. Factory is double din w/nav but i just use my phone usually. Budget probably wouldn't want to spend more than $500 unless there were big benefits to be had. I am looking for good value more than absolute best unless its not much more.

Been 6+ years since I last looked into things and I'm sure lots has changed in tech. I generally don't listen to cds anymore and mostly stream through tidal through BT. Would a wired connection be better quality? I am looking for something with good SQ and decent preouts and eq capabilities...
