    Convert CD to digital drive

You can rip a CD on to a computer, and then transfer the music files on to a flash drive. I haven’t done it in a while, but was fairly simple to do on Windows as long as the PC has a disc drive, which also seems less common on modern computers. You need to know what type of music files the head...

    Kenwood KAC-X201T Blinking Blue Triangle

Based on your first post I'd start with the ground, reinstall the amp, and then run a different wire straight to the battery negative or engine block, if you have any spare wire to do this test. Can of course also inspect the terminals at the end of the old wire, look for rust or corrosion on...

    Kenwood KAC-X201T Blinking Blue Triangle

My question is, since 8.8v is quite a large voltage drop from 14v, is the amp getting hot, or it's power wiring? If the amp was causing the voltage to drop that low, that means it is drawing a somewhat substantial amount of current, which is accompanied by smoke / overheating if the amp is...

    What type of screws

I use Titebond II or Titebond III wood glue and a air power Brad or finish nailer. Quick, easy, tight reliable joints. Apply the glue to the joint, clamp if needed to keep the panel aligned and fire the finish nails in. Give the glue a day to dry and you're done. No need for any crazy caulking...

    Bass track thread!

I use to bump this album a lot when I was a teen. Definitely had a lot of bass. A bit higher old school bass, so not for the hair trick wind machine systems.

    Bass track thread!

This track has constant sinewaves, so be careful, this is the sort of thing that will stress electrical system, amps and subs = smoke. Not sure why the THX in the title, this track was from a 90's Boston Acoustic compilation bass CD, track name is WooferCooker though.. And my favorite bass...

    My new sweet thang...

Looks awesome! Keep us posted on the system for it. We had a 1992 Olds Eighty Eight Royale, it road real nice until the engine blew a head gasket I think it was. It still looked nice but it ended up sitting for a few years questioning what to do with it.

Is 16 gauge PURE COPPER ENOUGH FOR SUB 325W RMS CONSTANT

No problem. Just no sense in spending money, when you already have something that will work fine. That said, if you start to go with higher power, then you may want to upgrade down the road. And yeah there can be a varying opinion on this sort of thing. Lastly, if you have enough extra wire...

Is 16 gauge PURE COPPER ENOUGH FOR SUB 325W RMS CONSTANT

That will be fine for 325 watts. I've ran way more than that through 16 gauge with no perceivable difference from 12 gauge. 😅 Going larger in wire never hurts and you can if you like, but a basic setup like that 16 is plenty big enough. It takes quite a bit of power to hear a difference from...

Vintage stereo made to work with Bluetooth

There is a good chance you could add some sort of Bluetooth or AUX input to a vintage stereo such as a 1978 Pioneer, maybe with a separate toggle switch, but finding someone to do it will be the difficult part. An older stereo probably wouldn’t be too difficult to insert the signal into the...

Exactly, I can't believe no one mentioned it.
