Ordered my 270 amp Alt on Friday and it got here Wednesday,awesome fast service so far (Thanks Chris @ Mechman)..... belts get here tomorrow. Should be good weather on Saturday for me to install.

I have a 1999 GMC Sierra 5.3L with 2 RF amps pushing about 1100 watts. My stock alt is bad and I'm looking to upgrade. I have been looking at the Mechman Alts 240 amp large case. Should I buy through the Mechman site or Sonic Electronic site? I have also read some good things about Singer alts...
