    You will be ok with 16 for speakers. For the subs you might want to use 10g to be on the safe side. You're trying to use a wire rated for 21 amps to handle a 27.4 amp load. You might get away with doing so since music is dynamic and impedence rise though.

    In the calculator you'd put in the individual ohm of the speaker and if more than one speaker of the same ohm is sharing the same channel, divide the watts by the # of speakers. So if your 1500wrms @ 2ohm is actually two 4ohm subs getting 750 rms each then enter it as that.

    Well do you get the noise with the RCA's disconnected? If so then it's not the amp ground.
