If I were you I would buy the 1ohm version a little bigger than you need and set the gain low. The thing won't even get warm.

I had the hd3000 and didn't love it. The bass line is designed for subs and more efficient than MD line which is why I went with bass line over MD. Think it was like $75 more than the MD Just buy from Amazon and if for any reason it doesn't work out they will take it back it back no...

Yup xfls. Plus my alternator is regulated so it never goes above 14.2v

To make it clear the Chinese soundcubed 2250 watt amp literally went up in smoke on the same electrical that the taramps bass 5k is running on without a problem

Yup fried a soundcubed, like literally fried that amp I returned the skar amp due to peer pressure lol. Never installed it so can't really comment on it. My taramps bass 5k doesn't even get warm and since I turned the box around the gain is maybe 1/4 way up

I wouldn't believe it if I wasn't running one. Taramps 5k on a single extra battery with 100amp alternator You can see the battery kinda to the right

I had no idea thx I turned em back around. I'm gonna have to lay down some sound deadener. The wall isn't an option for this car.

I know it's probably not optimal but I think it sounds better facing forward. Main problem is that Toyota Corollas are great cars, just not for 3k watts

The vibration. Rattles everything so when facing forward I turn the gain up to compensate If they faced rear with gain at this level car would fall apart

Because I have the box firing towards the cabin instead of the rear of the trunk

It drops to 12.8 sometimes on very bass heavy songs. My gain 3/4. Think it clips at about 12.5 but I was told it's almost an early warning light. it never even gets warm.
