The bass knob up front originally caused the bass at non bass frequencies. I then turned the gain on the actual amplifier down.

Bass knob as that at max just matches your amplifiers set gain. So when I couldn't turn it all the way up without issues I turned the actual set gain on the amplifier down.

I am in Costa Mesa, CA. I have two mtx terminator 12" subs Paired with a rockville 2000 watt max amp. I had them installed at a place in town and they were fine, but when I turned my bass dial up the day of install it seemed like the bass never stopped even when there wasn't frequencies causing...
