    JimJ, the sub is not hooked up but when I hook it up and adjust it close to where I think it should be it sounds fine. As far as the amp I can hear anything from it and it doesn't feel too hot either.

    Hey guy I'm setting up my new sub in my car, while adjusting the gain control on the amp it is acting really weird. If I turn the gain all the way up then the ac voltage read by the MM drops. what could be wrong with here?

    Yeah an older guy I work with told me he busted out the windows in one of his car witha single 10. He said it happened about 8 years ago. I walked away in mid sentence and he never got it. I finally told him he was full of it and to never bring it up again because I knew he was lying.

    This is generally the location of all gas tanks. What made you think of this? You should carry you car to a local installer and go in and ask them this same exact question.
