i do believe your correct. the STI has the 2.5 and the wrx i think has the 2.0. on top of that, the only thing that the sti and the wrx share are the chassis pretty much, totally different suspension, reworked interior, different body kit, so on and so on.

yeah, everything is aftermarket, and i dont think it has anything to do with the rca's. normally it prolly would, but this occurred because of a ****** swap. theres no reason they should have touched the rca's. its gotta be a grounding problem, i just cant figure out where to start.

which power wire goes to the actual power wire on the cd player, the constant or the ignition on wire? then what does the other one hook to on the cd player? also, what amp of fuse do you recommend?
