As far as mounting the sub; the foam is a solid block so once i inset the sub in the foam i would think it would mount somewhat and witht he carpet holding it tight it should stay but i think the fiberglass is a good idea thanx and yea i agree that i can only use a small 8 i have to look at...

Anyone ever done an enclosure purely out of foam? Anyone know how it would sound? I have a 95 Ford f-250 and i took out the armrest and it has a block of foam about 12'(width) by 12'(length) by 5'(depth). I was thinking of maybe getting one from the junkyard and trying just to mount the sub...
