hey, if u could find out the cub's. on the box and the name and power ratings on the amp that would really help out with the situation and does the box have seperate chambers in it for each sub, or is it one big box, and how many ohms are the subs in? and do they match up with the amp?

also i just thought id let u know that jbl makes one of the loudest speakers around i believe its the gti series, it handles like 4000 watts, and it is the coolest looking sub ive ever seen. one word, "WOW"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jbl has been around for a long time and they have a reputation of being a good quality speaker with a lot of clarity, they will give u good sound and they are very efficient, screw rockford, they only make good amps!!!!! there speakers ****, i myself am running jbl and they rock.

when u mount a sub upsidedown in a box u have to use your trunck as a speaker box, therefor u want a small trunk, in order for it to work good, they will sound better in a box the right way, they distort when there basackwards.
