Finally getting a little extra cashflow lately and im looking to invest in some new decent sub's. Right now im running Power Acoustik A3000DB. All i play is Rap so my priority is the most SPL for the buck and trying to stay below or around 300 beans. Ive got the space for a couple 10's or 12's...

Nah.. Im not really looking for crazy powerful subs.. i just want it to play properly.. Sure i would love to adjust my gain to exactly match the subs specifications.. but as i said earlier i was not sure how to do that. Im sure i can find out through a little web searching though. Cant be...

Yeah sorry it is 2300 watts.. the amp is misleadingly advertised as being 3000 watts at 1 OHM.. not exactly sure why.. (peak power)? Anyways i guess that means it wasnt fried from too much wattage... bah..

Soooo... my subs fried from too much wattage? I did not set my gain past 3/4 way.. but then again i didnt test it with my meter.. nor do i really know how. At least im assuming this means my amp is still good, and i can buy new subs soon. I suppose i should just buy subs rated for say 1,500...
