Its only the Red RCA wire that does this. The white one plays music perfectly fine but only out one side of the car.

I grounded the HU to a small screw hole on the very back of the HU itself. I used to multi meter and it tested as a valid ground point. I also grounded the RCA wires to this same ground point. The prior ground point tested as a valid ground point aswell. It still pops when the window is...

I pulled the HU out, ran a pair directly to the amp, still pops when windows lowered. RCA plugged into HU and disconnected from Amp = No Popping when Passenger Window is raised/lowered. RCA disconnected from HU and plugged into Amp = No Popping when Passenger Window is raised/lowered. So does...

With the RCA unplugged from the amp, and still plugged into the HU, there is no noise. So knowing the noise is being generated in the HU / RCA's What can I try next?

After more testing, It is only doing it when the passenger window is being lowered/raised, contrary to what I said before. It is drawing extra power to move the window, and somehow making the speakers pop. I dont understand how but I will try a new ground point for the amp and for the cd deck...

Hooked up another deck RCA to my amp rca The popping was not there.

I havent hooked up another deck to test that out. I am going to try grounding the RCAs tonight, if that fails, i'll ripp out the RCAs and hook em up to another deck,

More info With the white RCA connected, music plays fine out of the left side of the car. With the RED RCA connected, it produces that popping sound. I tried different RCAs It is doing it whenever the deck is turned on now. Not just when the window is being lowered/raised Any other ideas?

I will check the HU rca's. Thanks for the info, The ground for the amp is in the trunk, it is a good connection. Forgot to mention, it resembles 1000 beats per minute, to give a better idea.

I wasnt able to detect anything wrong with the speaker wire or any of the soldered points. Could this popping be related to the RCAs interfering with something ? I have the power wires on the left side of the car, and 3 sets of rcas on the right side.

My Components (powered by an amp) started making a very loud popping noise only when the electirc passenger side window was being lowered or raised. Everything was working fine for a couple months. This happened out of the blue. Any ideas before I start disassembling ?
