its certainly fine by the ground wire, but you may want to run it on the opposite side of any signal carrying wire, such as RCAs and speaker wire, as they could pick up distortion from the power cable.

i decided to check kmart the other day when i was picking my brother up from work. decided id give it a shot and, sure enough, there they were--two big nubs that screwed seemlessly into side terminal locations on my battery. im doin the big three upgrade right now. thanks for the help everyone
