    thanks, i guess thats not too bad. also is it possible for the volume and skip controls on my steering wheel to work on a new HU? After hearing that bose system i might just keep it in there because it sounds awsome. but then how would i hook up my amp and sub, would it be ok to run a speaker...

    has anyone here ever installed a HU in a 98 cadillac seville sts or similar year? im going to buy the car tomorrow and from what i could tell today from the looks of the dash it doesnt look very easy. it has the bose system btw if that matters any. im hoping i wont need to pay for an install.

    Adding a cap to my system made an enourmous difference, and it was a cheap one from wal-mart But I wouldnt spend 150 bucks for one at an audio store.

    im sending the sub 505 watts (if that is really what the amp is putting out). I have heard that these subs start sounding like s**t when they are fed a lot of power and i dont currently have any plans to do any comps so i want to focus more on sound quality, and the 505 watts will get it bangin...

    I have done more reading and i adjusted the amp a little. The crossover is now set to 70Hz and i put the q-factor to the original setting of 1.00, it goes up to 2.00 but i cant really hear any difference. Could somebody explain what that setting is for? Lowering the crossover improved the sound...
