I was talking to my friend online and he said:
"when i turn it on low the sub hits fine but once i get the volume too high the amp light starts flickering everytime it should hit and the sub thuds then goes out"
I thought it was a problem with the ground but others didnt agree.
Whats up with it?
bx1500d, yeah actually this whole situation is theoretical because i already wired it to 2 ohm, because i found out my subs are only 300rms when they were listed at 600.
thanks.
What Im saying is if I wire them independently. Like wire one sub to 1 ohm, and the other sub to 1 ohm, so then id be running 2 positve and 2 negative wires to the amp. instead of 1 positive and 1 negative.
This guy at a car audio store said that i have to wire my two 15s (Dual 2 ohm) like this
because my amp is mono, but cant i just wire them separately like:
and have the subs going seperately into the amp at 1 ohm, or does it have to be at 2 ohm?
Im building a box for 2 Diamond Audio CM3s. Its going to be Sealed simply because its easier. Alright so the main question is should it be 2 seperate boxes or one big one and why.
thanks
