    check if your crossovers to component speakers if you have any are close to anything electrical like fuse box maybe under dash close to the light switch

    i had a look and being novice eveything looked ok, the sub was hard to push down and the unit has a number of years on it so maybe voice coil or expected wear ,the green power light goes on
