Do I really need bracing? Won't it screw with the box volume along with the tuning?

Hey guys it's me again. I was wondering if you guys would beable to check this design out, see if it's solid. I was worried about getting too much port noise, do you think ill have a problem with it? The vent is 2"x13.5"x26.5" The box if my calculations are correct is 3.06cf tuned to 27.6...

Ohhhh, No it is a single 3/4" wall box. Its the modelling program that makes it look like that. So did I mess up my calculations at all? or does the box look sound?

What do you mean double baffle? Do you mean the port? If so No It stops 2" away from the right side.

The port length I calculated is 30.25" And the port is 2" away from the wall. Thanks for your help

Hey you guys, I was wondering if anyone could check my specs on the box I designed for a 03 kicker cvr10. It should be 1.592 CF^3 tuned to 29Hz. Could someone check this for any mistakes. It would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah the port is 1.25"x13.5" Thanks for your help ChevelleMan73

Ok I will turn gains down, and my RCA's are on the same side as the power wire in fact they are probably touching in some places is that bad??

Ive sanded the shock tower down to metal, so I dont think it is ground. When it was in my chevelle i had the gains turned all the way up, and it never did this before. Do you think that it could be the deck or the rca cables? Thanks for the help.

Hi all I just built a ABC Enclosure for my pioneer 10's(I Know!), and they were working fine in my chevelle. But I felt like trying something else and put them in a GEO Metro and when I turn it up the subs will bottom out and clip like he11. And during parts of songs with no bass the subwoofer...

I listen to mostly rap so sq is not as important. But are cvrs really that bad for sq? I was going to go with some TI 12's but I cant seem to find any, all i see are 15's and 10's

Good choice of words eh? They were sealed, but someone decided to make some holes and stick some pcv in the whole. I will probably be running a 440 watt amp to both of them temporarily, until I get some more money. Than probably like a 800 watt amp. Im looking to buy the two cvrs off of ebay...

I will probably go with the two Kicker CVR12's. I think the two kickers would be louder than one RE SE12. Thanks for the replys guys. Im only running two pioneer 10's right now in some sealed pre-fab ghetto ported truck boxes, so anything should be better than that. Thanks, Joel
