shxt, i just got a pioneer 690-ub off of sonicelectronix.com and it was 210 shipped. with all the extra cords.. wire harness and install kit.... its a great sounding unit...

Im basically in the same boat. I have 2 12" hd3's... and i have a 802sx ma audio amp... which is comparable to your amp.. right now i have it wired @ 4 ohms.. but it just isnt enough. I have a battery in the front and the trunk... in a week or so, i will be going to change the ohm load to 1...

just watch the gain with the stock alt. and see how bad your voltage drops..
