    RCA Run by Battery

Does anyone know if they make a filter for alternator noise? I’ve tried the small RCA kind, but that didn’t work. I’ve heard that there’s some kind of filter that goes on the power line coming off the alternator, but I can’t seem to find one online.

    RCA Run by Battery

Thanks for sticking with me on this. How would I short the center pin to the outer barrel? Would I take a cheap female RCA cable and cut the wire, then connect the two cut wires? I'm running the ground from the HU directly to the negative battery terminal. It was going through the factory...

    What Amp Should I Get?

Thanks for the response. The "not playing well" refers to a few things. 1. When the system powers up I hear a loud "screech" noise for about 4 seconds. 2. Due to the fiber optic connection, I have no fader controls since I had to use a fiber optic adapter that connects through the RCA jacks on...

    What Amp Should I Get?

Hi... newbie so please take pity on me. I'm thinking of swapping out my factory amp since I've replaced my factory head unit with a Pioneer double DIN unit and it's not playing well with my factory amp. The system I started with was a Becker head unit that uses the MOST system (fiber optic)...
