good point.... soundstream claims that the woofer is "capable of working in small enclosures for audiophiles, and large vented enclosures for SPLX Max "bass heads"".... just wondering if anyone has any personal experience with the woofer, and their thoughts on it's sound quality.

I'm thinking of picking up a soundstream splx 154. It's RMS is 1000, I will be powering it with an older orion 1200d (725W@2 ohm), in a sealed fiberglass enclosure. I'm not looking for anything super loud, more sound quality. Do you think this amp and sub combo will do the trick?

my price point is right around there, i would like to keep it under 175 shipped. The smaller diamond would be perfect.

on crutchfield it says its rated from 75-350 woofersetc does say 400 rms however...

well, i'm only gonna be pushing one infinity perfect 12, its running off a bridged channel at 150 right now and is plenty loud, the woofer is rated at 70-350 rms....what jl do you have farmerehsan

300 rms would be perfect

RMS 70-350 peak 1400 the thing is pretty loud already with this setup
