I know just because amp is rated for that doesn't mean it will. It's a hifonics (better than boss? Lol). So i gave some headroom for sub. 

If my speaker is 1250 watts and my amp is 4000.1, but is 2000 watts at 2 ohm. And my alt is 140 amp. My system should pull 88 amps? Guessing I should get HO and big 3 to handle it? There's soo much more I want ask, and do to car but don't really know too much. Already spent like 800. Going to do...

Ok have ssingle sa x12 d4 says 1250 rms. Got hifonics Brutus 4000.1 says it does 2000 rms at 2 ohm. My alt does 140 amp. Door speakers pull 1200 watts haven't got an amp for them yet. But before I spend more money. What are my power concerns?
